The One-Year Materials & Labour Warranty makes sure your home is built properly and meets all safety standards. It covers any problems with the materials or work done on your home during the first year after you move in. If any issues come up, they can be fixed through a year-end check, giving you peace of mind that your home is safe and well-built.
A Year-End Form may be submitted anytime within the first year of possession to list unresolved or new items that have come up.
Ensures the home is constructed in a workmanlike manner and free from material defects.
Protects against unauthorized substitutions.
Requires the home to be fit for habitation.
Covers Alberta Building Code violations.
Applies for one year from the date of possession — even if the home is sold.
The Two-Year Mechanical Systems Warranty protects the important parts of your home that keep it running smoothly. It covers issues with heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as water leaks through walls, windows, or doors. This warranty lasts for two years from the day you move in, giving you confidence that your home’s main systems are safe and reliable.
Covers defects in materials and labour related to delivery and distribution systems, including:

The Five-Year Building Envelope Warranty protects your home from problems that could affect its outer structure. This warranty lasts for five years from the time you move in, helping ensure your home stays strong, secure, and well-protected.
Protects against defects in the building envelope, which separates the conditioned interior from the unconditioned exterior.
